In addition to teaching and administrative assignments, Dr. Mu has published
extensively in economics related journals and books. In recent years, Dr. Mu has written articles on faculty ethics, academic freedom, and university governance. He is regularly invited to give public speeches both in Taiwan and abroad.
On December 15, 2006, Dr. Mu received an Honorary Doctorate degree at Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan, U.S.A. On December 11, 2008, Dr. Mu was awarded the 3rd Class Education-Culture Medal by the Ministry of Education.
